The master's work presents research on employment as an acute socio-economic problem.
The problem of employment is quite relevant, especially during the current period of labor market formation. The main goal of the research is to analyze the present-day state of employment, current problems and major challenges. Based on the aforementioned analysis, fixing the problems of employment and designing the means of establishing effective employment lines for the population of the country. In order to achieve this goal, the paper estimates theoretical and practical consequences of employment problems and its impact on economic development. While analyzing the employment policy and researching the labor market in Georgia has been revealed the necessity of elaboration and improvement of the labor market and employment policies. The paper focuses on the importance of human capital as anessentialelement for the development of labor market and effective employment in the current stage of functioning of labor market in Georgia. Based on the analysis of the results of the research and the final generalization, the work develop the ways of solution of the problems in the field of employment and the main directions of its perfection.
