In the first phase of the pandemic in Georgia, the government, medical workers and managers were in a changing environment and in a growing area of uncertainty. Timely planning and action, promptly developed by a team of physicians, epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists and managers, enabled the government to take urgent measures to contain the pandemic and slow the spread. We have examined the actual state of organization, effectiveness, pros and cons of the measures taken and proposed a management scheme for overcoming a given crisis that is effective.

This article describes the combined effect of polyphenols (flavonoids), isolated from endemic plants of Georgia, on the damaged liver tissue with induced tetrachlormethane. Initial experiments in low concentrations (7 mg/L) of polyphenols (flavonoids) did not show positive effect.
