შობადობის ტენდენციები საქართველოში 2000-იანი წლებიდან დღემდე

In this thesis “Childbirth Trends in Georgia from 2000s until today, Kakheti example” there are reviewed tendencies of birth in the region in 2000-2017 years and defined the factors affecting the birth rate in the country and analyzed connection between demographic situation of the region and the country. The author chose the topic due to its actuality, especially now, when demographic situation is in crisis in our country. Decrease of birth rate, increase of emigration, changes in sex and age structures, worsen socio-economic conditions and reproductive disposition and behaviour – all of these effects on the whole population. It’s getting more and more difficult to keep and renew our population.
There are different academic and statistical sources used for the assessment of birth rates and trends in Georgia, especially in Kakheti. The subject of the research is birth and the research object is to evaluate birth trends and rates in population of Kakheti and to determine its influences on country’s demographic profile. On one hand, there are shown the historical vision of the issue and the other hand there is some statistical information, which helps the author to assess future demographic prospects of Kakheti region and the country.
