The topic of the master's thesis is to discuss Georgia's export opportunities and perspectives in international trade, which is quite relevant today as a theoretical and practical point of view.
Because of its historical and geopolitical location, Georgia has an opportunity to actively engage in world integration processes and achieve economic progress. For all this, it is necessary to develop international trade and increase production in line with European standards.
The first chapter deals with the main economic goal of Georgia - to become an active participant in international trade and it discusses Georgia’s current trade relations and policies.
Increase in the volume of international trade and export are a real goal that requires proper planning and support from the state. This part of the thesis also discusses the positive aspects of international trade and focuses on Georgia’s role in the modern global space.
The second chapter of the paper presents the analysis Georgia’s trade (export and import datas) according to the main commodity groups and trade partners, also, Georgia's cooperation with international organizations, commitments and perspectives taken in this regard. The paper also deals with the impact of modern global processes on foreign trade, selected export policy and for more visibility thesis contains foreign trade statistics and diagrams.
The third chapter of the thesis is further detailed about the challenges facing the country after the inclusion in international trade that contains challenges due to Georgia-EU Association Agreement (Quality assurance, product non-uniformity and ect.) and Georgia's competitiveness in the international market. In addition, the priority directions of export are discussed as there are real possibilities of enlarging the main export products and prospects for the development of new fields in this regard.
