The article discusses the mechanism of state regulation, support and its importance for the agricultural sector of Georgia. The focus is on farms, their effective functioning and regulation of the priority directions of development of the industry.
In the process of analyzing statistical materials the sectoral structure of agriculture sector of Georgia and parameters of agricultural sector development, volume of production, export-import and dynamics of the share of agrarian sectors with regard to GDP.
Based on extensive materials and data, the conclusion is that the state plays an important role in regulating the agrarian sector, regulating the legislation and the development of a thriving development.
Conclusions are made in accordance with the identified problems and recommendations are offered.
