Abstract
Today, as the process of Georgian economic integration into the global economics is getting
more and more active, it’s even more important to study how the specifications of the foreign
trade relations correlate with how we define foreign trade trends, how the dynamics of the
economic relations are shaped between countries.
Foreign trade can be defined as “exchanging goods between countries by exporting and
importing those goods, which is beneficial for all sides involved in the process.” All of the
above means, that foreign trade has its own specifics and depends not only on one country’s
inner economic policy, but rather on decisions and what kind of policies do leading world
trade countries have.
Important things for Georgia to consider for integration into the world of global economics:
Deepening economic relationships with foreign partner countries; maintaining bilateral,
regional, versatile trade relations while at the same time, having preferential and free trade
regime. By doing so, stabilizing trade relations with nearby countries, producing goods and
services corresponding to those of European Union and minimizing all the possible barriers
between them;
Today one of the most strategically main tasks for Georgia’s foreign policy is to establish
mutually beneficial and useful partnership cooperation with European countries. That
includes bilateral political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and social relationships. By
intensifying partnership cooperation with European countries, we show the whole world that
we’re in for Euro Atlantic integration by developing democratic and economically stable
country, hoping that it will be de occupied and united as before.
