Abstract
Topicality: Globasation process is taking place all over the world, involving in this is
especially important for developed countries, which have no own recources to increase
industry. Foreign direct investments represent how to widen industry borders, also to take
an active part in collaboration and in international trading. It has not passed much time since
that representatives of the countries realised, direct foreign investmens need much attention
for economical development.
Direct foreign investments have some perpective branches. Among them on the first place
are: engineering, communications, transport. In the recent period the interest on property
and building market is quite increased. On other branches the interest is considerably low.
It’s as well interesting that in spite of such flora, investments interest to agriculture is low,
it’s only 4%.
According to statistical date, from 1996 to 2014 third quarter, direct foreign investments
income in Georgia exceeded 12.4 milliard $. From this amount 42% is influent from
European Union countries.
Although according to the thitd quarter of 2014 on the first place in direct foreign
investment countries is China. (157 million $) It began activating only in the third quarter
and compiled 29% of given quarter. (it is 47 times more than last year) It might be said that
China is beginning now its economical “expansion” in Georgia.
Industry repartition of other three direct foreign investments looks so: construction (36%);
transport and communications (21%); property (12%); Investments in mentioned industry in
Georgia by this quage won’t be positive in longterm period, because exsisting investments is
not suitable for country’s economical development, it is made for enrichmenting investors.
