The master's thesis "Peculiarities of Transformation of Georgian Economy at the Modern
Stage" consists of an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion, which is accompanied by a
list of used literature.
The introduction sequentially presents the relevance of the paper, the purpose and
objectives of the research, its object and subject, the theoretical-methodological framework, the
scientific novelty, and its practical significance.
The paper covers the peculiarities of the transformation of the Georgian economy, both
in the historical context and at its modern stage. The paper critically assesses the economic
reforms implemented in the country, which had and are still having a significant impact on the
transformation of the Georgian economy. The paper also identifies the main factors affecting
economic development and appropriate indicators that contribute to economic progress or
regress.
The chapters are grouped in chronological order according to the main political forces
and policy influencers of Georgian history.
The paper also assesses the developmental regularities, trends, and main priorities of
economic reforms in Georgia in the wake of the modern challenges of world economic
development.
Finally, to better understand the data and information proposed, graphs, drawings, and
tables compiled according to official data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia are
presented in the paper.
