რუსეთ-უკრაინის ომი და უკრაინული ნაციონალური იდენტობა

Abstract

Country of Ukraine had many hardly solvable problems and from 2014 war became one of them. Parallel to the war, here comes the process of revising existing national identity narratives. Because of this matter, studding the case of Ukraine from nationalism and ethnicity studies is becoming very interesting. Following work is concentrating exactly on this case, more precisely the work is interested in how war is affecting national identity narratives of Ukraine. Research is discussing three main narratives: Pan-Slavic, “little Russian” (Малороссийская идентичность) and Ukrainian Ethno-cultural identity. Research problem is to identify changes of Ukrainian national identity with existing identity narratives and war background. The research is qualitative and the study analyzes existing academic studies, documents and online resources. In addition, considerable amount of space in the study is occupied by analysis of statistical data and various polls. The thesis is based on the theory of Modernism from the theories of nationalism, within which thesis talks about idea of "market of ideas" proposed by Snyder and Ballentine. It is noteworthy that elites in the "market of ideas" created in Ukraine are competing with each other through the pro-Russian and pro-European narratives. In the pro-Russian circle, the work places the narrative of the "little Russia", and the narrative of Ukrainian ethno-cultural identity is considered as a pro-European narrative. In the paper, the contemporary challenges of the Ukrainian national identity are discussed shortly, main challenges are the revaluation of the identity narratives and regionalism.

უკრაინას, რომელსაც ბევრი რთულადმოსაგვარებელი პრობლემა აწუხებდა, 2014 წლიდან საომარი ვითარებაც დაემატა. ომის პარალელურად, აქ ხდება არსებული ნაციონალური იდენტობის ნარატივების გადაფასება, რის გამოც უკრაინის ქეისის შესწავლა დღევანდელობაში განსაკუთრებით საინტერესოა ნაციონალიზმის კვლევების ფარგლებში. მოცემული ნაშრომი სწორედ აღნიშნულ საკითხზე გაამახვილებს ყურადღებას, კერძოდ, კვლევას აინტერესებს როგორ იმოქმედა ომმა უკრაინაში არსებულ იდენტობის ნარატივებზე. კვლევაში საუბარია სამ ძირითად ნარატივზე, ესენია: პან-სლავური იდენტობის ნარატივი, უკრაინული ეთნო-კულტურული იდენტობის ნარატივი და ე.წ „პატარა რუსების“ იდენტობის ნარატივი (Малороссийская идентичность). კვლევის პრობლემას წარმოადგენს უკრაინაში არსებული ხსენებული იდენტობის ნარატივებისა და ომის ფონზე ნაციონალურ იდენტობასთან დაკავშირებული ცვლილებების გამოკვეთა. ხოლო ნაშრომის მიზანია შეისწავლოს რუსეთ-უკრაინის კონფლიქტის როლი უკრაინული ნაციონალური იდენტობისთვის. კვლევა თვისებრივია და ნაშრომში ხდება არსებული აკადემიური კვლევების, დოკუმენტებისა და ონლაინ რესურსების ანალიზი. ასევე, ნაშრომში საკმაოდ დიდი ადგილი ეთმობა სტატისტიკური მონაცემებისა და სხვადასხვა გამოკითხვების ანალიზს.
