The following research aims to explore the effective mechanism of the response to the threat of mass destruction weapons in Georgia, specifically the threat of the biological weapons.
Determine the causal links between the foreign policy course of Georgia and the reaction after the perception the threat of bioterrorism. For the research period, there is chosen the main directions of Georgia's foreign policy after getting independent. This issue is interesting because of the geopolitical location of Georgia. In the National Security Concept, the status of transit country of Georgia is considered as a threat to the spread of smuggling. Consequently, it is important to conduct country's foreign orientation and its desire for collaborative connections.
Thus, the research question can be formulated in the following way: What factor/factors influence effective mechanism of the threat reducing in the field of bioterrorism ? Do country's transit potential and function play a positive role in the development of various forms of smuggling.
