In a market economy, insurance is the most important contributor to the development of entrepreneurial activities and the reproductive processes, the production of goods and the expansion of commodity exchange operations, and its protective guarantee system.
I want to underline, that the property insurance direction is currently an unpopular object of research. There is also little interest from the population, as evidenced by the small number of people insured in this direction.
The aim of the topic is for analyzing the functioning and regulation of the insurance market, in the field of property insurance and to determine the ways to improve it based on the analysis of the insurance activities of developed countries.
The object of the research is to identify the development trends of the Georgian insurance market, in particular, in the direction of property insurance. Analysis of ongoing changes in the insurance system, the purpose of which is to develop new insurance directions in competitive conditions.
