The research represents a research around a very actual topic about the influence of merger of international companies, not only on their further economic activities but also on economic generally. It covers the important issues, which should be taken into consideration before merger of companies.
There are two ways of unification Merger and Acquisition (M&A). These two ways could be profitable for the firms or it will cause collapse. It is necessary to know what the unification with specific companies will result in.
In fact, that mixture of companies is characterized with high risks. Therefore, they should insure all the risk factors, which will hinder their progress. The research also presents examples of mergers on the territory of Georgia, but we will mainly review the foreign market. Frequently, these unifications do not succeed but fortunately, the literature review gives us an opportunity to observe all the mistakes made by managers of companies during the merger and acquisition. It is notible that the world economy has gained a lot of experience in this case. In modern merging examples, the risk of failure is minimized, while the total cost of transactions increases and this research is the obvious illustration of this process.
This research aims to learn the strategy and aims of the firms during the unification and to illustrate their positive and negative influence on their own business activities, which is naturally determined by their correct (wrong) steps.
