Abstract
Motivation is one of the most important among management functions. The concept of "motivation" comes from the Latin language, more specifically, from the word - movere, which means striving for a goal, movement. According to modern definitions, motivation is related to these concepts. It is a kind of driving force that motivates a person to do something.
It is important for any manager to discuss motivation not in general, but in terms of management, which is directly related to the work environment and employees. The function of motivation ensures communication between employees and employers or managers and establishes a healthy business relationship. The paper discusses theories of motivation and various means of motivation. In the case of specific companies, the suitability of the use of various means of motivation has been established in a number of cases. The paper also presents various ways and methods of motivating employees. Based on research and observations, it is established that the planning and implementation of various incentive measures has a positive impact on the quality of work of employees, increases the productivity of each of them and helps management to achieve maximum efficiency.
Organizations that actively engage in motivational activities towards employees have more chances of success because they have loyal and stable employees who are actively involved in achieving common goals. The implementation of the motivation function is profitable for any organization. The important thing is for managers to follow certain recommendations and be able to lead the motivation process properly.
