Within the scope of the paper was discussed a budgetary policy and its impact on the
growth of the Georgian economy. The effectiveness of Georgia's budget policy has been
assessed. Economic functions of the state during the post-crisis period, instead of shortening ,
on the contrary was expanded, which indicates to the need to effectively spending of public
finances. Consequently, in modern world trade relations , the State sector does not lose its
relevance, moreover, scientific observations and innovations are needed in this direction.
The economic role of the state is determined by the effectiveness of budgetary policy.
Within the scope of this work the Tax policy is not discussed, accordingly , Thesis topics
include an analysis of budgetary finances and selected priorities thereof. The research
problem is topical and interesting due to its complexity.
The research presents certain specifics of EU member states' budgetary policy.
Depending on the stage of development, a comparative analysis is given between EU
countries and Georgia's budget policy. Based on the fact that, as a result of the reforms of the
budget system of Georgia , active mobilization of public finances begins since 2004, the last
15 years have been selected for the period of analysis.
Thesis topic developed an opinion on expanding of the production factor circle within
the scope of the paper and in favor of the state - as one of the factors of production of
additional arguments are formed. Economic ability of the state is being presented in the form
of creating optimistic expectations for the future, which is considered as the main Public
goods. More specifically it is mentioned, that its role is particularly important for economic
growth for the countries with developed economy
