Abstract
The paper discusses the role of renewable energy in the international economic security of
Georgia, in connection with which the types of renewable energy are discussed, it is explained
from which sources it is possible to obtain alternative-renewable energy and the mentioned
sources are classified and explained. The paper highlights the circumstances that distinguish
alternative-renewable energies from traditional-non-renewable energies and presents the
advantages that lead to completely renewable energies on one side of the scale. Also it presents
the great historical perspective that relates to the history of the use of renewable energy by
civilizations.
Since any subject has two sides to the coin, the positives and negatives that come with renewable
energies are described. What positive and negative effects they can have on both the environment
and their impact on the economy is clear. Ways to reduce their negative impact are presented. The
paper presents the potential of Georgia in the use of alternative renewable energy.
The paper discusses the significant positive impact that Georgia will have on the introduction and
development of renewable energy in terms of international economic security.
The paper discusses the opinions of foreign and Georgian scientists and specialists in the field
regarding the above-mentioned issues, also the experiences of different countries and their policies
are given. Finally, the analysis of the reasoning formed in the paper is presented as a conclusion
and the relevant conclusions and recommendations are presented.
