Abstract
Masters thesis “Speech codes of village Tsitelubani“ consists of annotation, introduction, literature review, chapters and list of used literature. The research topic is relevant to Georgian literary language and studying for current linguistic process in dialects.
The aim of the masters thesis is to study the speech of village Tsitelubani on basis of dialect texts we have found and recorded.
The aim of research is to reveal the peculiarities of Kartli and Adjara dialects in the speech of village Tsitelubani based on analysis of dialect texts. At the same time, the study of lexical items characteristics of Ossetian and Turkish-Azerbaijan languages confirmed in this area of Kartli dialect.
The first chapter examines phonetic features: long sounds and phonetic processes occurring at the edge of morphemes. The second chapter discusses grammatical features: changes related to torsion marks, amplified sounds and delimiter boundary. The third chapter presents lexical features: borrowed vocabulary and onomastics.
The discriptive features of the speech of village Tsitelubani were analysed descriptive method. The linguistic events of Kartli, Adjara and Meskhetian were compared using the comparative method. Using the method contrast, we contrasted each other based on the materials which was available to us, with the speech codes characteristic of Georgian, Ossetian and Turkish-Azerbaijan languages. We used synchronous analysis of dialectical material during the research and direct observation method while writing text .
The thesis will help those who is interested in researching dialectic material.
