Abstract
The research topic is associated with the assessment of positive organizational
behavior and interaction of organizational citizenship behavior. The aim of the research is to
evaluate the relationship between self-efficacy, optimism, resilience and organizational
citizenship behavior. The research also analyzed how the individual characteristics and
organizational environment impacts on the formation and interaction of civil organizational
and positive organizational behaviors.
The survey methodology and participants: 208 employees participated in the survey (the age
of the respondents varies from 18 to 63 years. 30.8% of the participants are male and 69.2%
female. 53.4% of respondents were employed in the private sector, 33.7% serves in public
service, 4.3% in international structures, 2.9% in non-governmental sectors, and the
remaining 4.3% in different types of institutions.) Survey participants have filled out a
questionnaire that measures the current work satisfaction, hope, optimism, self-efficacy,
resilience, organizational citizenship behaviour and personal characteristics (7 measuring
instruments used in survey).
