For the effective operating of any organization it is necessary to have a right organizational structure that responds to the company's challenges and ensures its long-term success. The goal of the present paper is to evaluate the importance of organizational structure, to outline the advantages and disadvantages of different tipes of structures, to form the structure and ways to develop it. Theoretical information presented in the work is based on the works of well-known Georgian and foreign scientists and researchers, and practical research is based on qualitative and quantitative study of payment service providers working in the financial sector of Georgia.
In qualitative study of companies, interviews with top management are used, and a survey of quantitative research. The paper also provides a comparative analysis of traditional and modern organizational structures. This document contains drawings, tables and graphs. The result of the study, there is revealed the factors that hampering the company's structure to work efficiently and give the recommendations helping the companies to developing the right organizational structure, resulting in companies being able to increase competitiveness and achieve long-term strategic success in the market.
