Presented master's thesis deals with diplomatic and political activities of Georgian queens of XI century. Master's thesis consists of eight chapters, the introduction part and the conclusion.
The Georgian queens always preferred for their families and the country's good. During their heirs’ childhood they used to act as an actual leaders of the country. They were not afraid of bold diplomatic and political steps. Moreover, the peaceful negotiations of the queens often became a precondition for Georgia's survival.
The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the results of queens’ activities in the XI century of Georgia.Their diplomatic, political or cultural activities were beneficial for the development of the country.
There is not much material in the Georgian historiography about the topic. However, based on different sources and authors, I tried to show interesting aspects of XI century queens. The topic is quite relevant, because in today's time, great attention is paid to the role of women in the process of formation of society. They often compare each other with modern and previous-century women, their achievements or failures.
In our master’s thesis are discussed eight XI century queens, who have been able to contribute to the political and cultural development of the feudal age Georgia.
