Abstract
The analysis of political discourse is attracting more and more attention in academic and public domains. The study of politics according to its linguistic dimension is in this sense of primary importance. In this regard, politics is essentially perceived as a kind of linguistic activity, where the main emphasis is shifted to the observation and analysis of language.
Within the scope of this work, we consider political discourse as a kind of language game. Within the framework of this study, the concept of language game is taken from the relevant concepts of a number of analytical philosophers, fitted in a relevant context.
The main concepts discussed in the research are - political discourse, language game, dominant discourse, discourse and power.
