Legal grounds for the emergence of rights and duties of spouses

The present paper presents some analysis of various topical issues of ancient and modern family law. In particular, we are talking about the institution of the family and its importance, legal issues of spousal co-ownership, rights and obligations, both in the current legislation and in the historical context.
The rule of division of the joint property of the spouses and related issues are discussed, including court disputes over real estate purchased during the marriage; The rule of division of co-ownership and legal deficiencies of the property acquired during the cohabitation by the spouses in unregistered marriage.
The master's thesis deals with the peculiarities of the marriage contract of the spouses, the ratio of the requirements of the law, the modification and termination of the marriage contract; On issues of mutual obligation of spouses - in the case of a person authorized to receive alimony; On the rule of determining the alimony, dismissal from the duty of stay and extinction of the alimony.
The above-mentioned issues are mainly studied and processed in accordance with the legislation of Georgia and foreign countries, based on the examples of literature and case law related to the presented topic.
