The main tendencies of Tamri Pkhakadze's creative work is discussed in the master’s thesis.Tamri Pkhakadze is undoubtedly one of the best contemporary writers whose work has not been the subject of complex study until today.Creating such a complex work was a very interesting and at the same time the most difficult challenge, as we would have had to start working from a practically clean sheet of paper, however, the depth and versatility of Tamri Pkhakadze's prose gave us stimulus not to be afraid of difficulties and to face such a challenge.
The actuality of the master’s thesis is determined by several circumstances, first of all, the peculiarity of the current literary process, which is that all boundaries are broken and everyone can write and publish everything, and it collects a lot of material, among which it is even more difficult to find something special and especially valuable. Therefore, in our opinion, it is very important in modern literary criticism, the study of contemporary authors and the separation of quality literature from numerous texts as well.
It is also important to critically analyze the creative work of a particular writer in literary criticism and to identify the general tendencies or characteristic nuances that are a determining factor in assessing the author's creative heritage. Thus, within the master’sthesis, we tried to showto the reader the details of Tamri Pkhakadze's individual creative world and global thinking, through which the writer's prose has a prominent place in the modern Georgian literary space.
As we have mentioned, the issue analyzed in the paper - the main tendencies of Tamri Pkhakadze's creative work - has not been studied in the Georgian scientific literature, therefore the research topic is a scientific novelty and thus, its processing is justified in terms of research. At the same time, the unity of these tendencies makes Tamri Pkhakadze’s, an undoubtedly exceptionally talented author’s creative work very interesting.
