Abstract
The paper, "Parliamentary Republic under 1921 and the current Constitution", consists of two chapters, nine paragraphs, a summary and a conclusion.
The first chapter of the paper, General Description of the Parliamentary Republic according to the 1921 Constitution, discusses the origins of the constitutional history of Georgia, as well as the rules, functions and powers of the formation of the Parliament and the Government.
It should be noted that the Constitution of Georgia of 1921, despite the fact that it lasts only four days, is crucial for the identity and development of Georgia. The Constitution was created based on the experience of developed countries abroad, as well as factors specific to Georgia. While there were some shortcomings, it is an act, the supreme law of the country, that we can be proud of even a century later.
The second chapter of the paper, According to the current Constitution of the Parliamentary Republic, discusses the modern Constitution of Georgia, as well as the legislative and executive body created on its basis.
It should be noted that the powers of the Parliament of Georgia are quite diverse, it is the Parliament of Georgia that determines the main directions of the country's domestic and foreign policy. The decisions made by the Parliament of Georgia are implemented by the Government of Georgia and the Prime Minister.
Georgia With the latest amendments to the Constitution, Georgia has been sharply established as a parliamentary republic.
The paper concludes.
