Usage of computer accounting softwares in business

The history of accounting started centuries ago. People felt the necessity of accounting thousands of years ago. Accountants relied on paper manuals to record debts and credits, income and expenses. Finaly it all got easier. The invention of computers transformed accounting in the twentieth century.
Accounting software is a computer software that enables users to record finances much faster, easier, visually and efficiently. At this stage, foreign origin programs are used in Georgia, as well as those originated in Georgia. Day by day, these programs become more and more accurate and adaptable for each business.
The master's thesis "Usage of computer accounting softwares in business" discusses the path that accounting has taken from hand-made records to computer, specialized software. From its inception to the present day, what role do these programs play in the modern business world and how do they perform their "duty"?
The aim of the study is to determine the scale of application of accounting software in the modern business. The subject of the research is to determine whether the modern Georgian business is actively engaged in accounting with the help of accounting programs. The result was that only 1.6% of the respondents use the old method of handwriting, the remaining 98.4% of the respondents actively use accounting programs.
Both Georgian and foreign literature and articles were used during the preparation of the paper.
