Abstract
The security of the Black Sea region in the modern world is an area of NATO interest, as evidenced by the statements made by the North Atlantic Alliance. In the interests of NATO indicates prominent attention at the 2016 Warsaw Summit and the 2017 Bucharest Parliamentary Assembly, which NATO continues to this day at various summits.
After the annexation of Crimea by Russia, we can say that the Black Sea region belongs to the Interests sphere of global actors, their views are markedly different from one another. Today, one of the strongest NATO’s member states, Turkey located in the Black Sea region, is actively cooperating with Russia, which poses certain problems to NATO interests in the region, these interests are: Security, Stability and more.
Thesis deals with the various actors, mainly the geopolitical goals of the North Atlantic Alliance and the interest of Georgia. Also, the impediments that are related to NATO’s enlargement policy, in line with Georgia’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic space.
