Implications of "Arab Spring" on the Caucasus Regional Security in terms of International terrorism

The demonstrations that took place in North Africa, the Arab world and the Middle East within 2010-2011 years was called “Arab Spring” by the media. The rapid success of the Tunisian revolution had so called “the domino effect” on the rest Arab countries. Under the dictatorship rule the freedom of speech was completely abolished, prisons were full of the political prisoners. There were frequent cases of demonstrators being shot by the police.
Terrorism in the 21st century has become the biggest challenge in the world. Leadingcountries and organizations of the world that are making great efforts to prevent terroristthreats, but despite these efforts, European and American cities have repeatedly becomevictims of terrorist acts. We can confidently say that terrorism has been one of the major issues the humanity has been facing since the Cold War.
The Arab spring had a major impact on the regional politics of the Middle east and the Caucasus. The Arab spring has a major impact on the Caucasus regional security system, especially in terms of International terrorism and the development of new geopolitical realities.
