თანამედროვე სახელმწიფოს დემოკრატიული მახასიათებლები

Democracy is a form of government that belongs only to the people, the main requirement of democracy is freedom, which belongs to every person regardless of gender, race and ethnicity, religion, ideology or different affiliations. Democracy is a form of government where people govern themselves, where everyone is equal, where no one has privileges, the decision is made in the opinion of the majority, but it does not mean the violation of minority rights, on the contrary the majority is obliged to protect minority rights and interests. Democracy as a form of government first existed in ancient Greece.
The state is a form of socio-political organization that exercises power through the government, through which public order is established, the unity of the country, the law is supreme and everyone is equal before it, the state is the guarantor of citizens' rights and freedoms. Citizens have a great role to play in the development of democracy, citizens must have a democratic culture and knowledge, they must have an aspiration for democracy, and they must adhere to the democratic principles and values in a state that democracy must have.
State and Democracy will be the topic of my paper, where I will express my opinion on how important democracy is for the state.
