The states of the world were involved in different wars throughout history. The wars between various countries were unchanged and their major goal was to conquere and appropriat the territory.
The teqnique of war changed in 21th century. Confrontation between the states is still going on but the weapon is drastically different from the weapon used in previous centuries. The weapons used today, are: modern technologies, information, disinformation, propaganda, cyberattacks, psychological influence and etc. Each of them can be combined into one term – Hybrid Warfare. This may not completely replace the military action, however in modern world politics, military and economy it is a tool, which creates chaos, fear and tension.
Russia has its own hybrid warfare techniques, actively uses it against other countries and sharply interferes in their domestic politics and uses propaganda, informational warfare and cyberattacks for this purpose. This is confirmed by the fact of Russian interference in US 2016 Presidentian Elections, which is one of the major issues of international politicis. This fact proves that besides other challeneges there is one more challenge in the world, which requires proper resistance, development of modern defense mechanisms and constant monitoring. Because of all this, Hybrid warfare is not a strage term and nowadays it is very actual issue.
