In the framework of a master's thesis, Georgia’s existing road situation is discussed. Based on the data of the ministry of infrastructural development of Georgia, current situation and upcoming works (years 2014-2021) are analyzed, according to Georgia’s regional development strategy.
Nowadays, the main aim of the Road Department of Georgia is to intergrate Georgian infrastructure to the EU standarts. At the same time, their aims are related to the economical development of all Georgia, to satisfy maximally and effectively the users of the roads of the country. To achieve this aim, the Road Department of Georgia, needs to complete the following tasks: To increase the safety measures on the roads; To decrease the travelling time and increase the transit torrents; to rationally operate the road infrastrcture (which is essential); improving roads; and to improve the administration of the road infrastructre.
This work studies and analyzes the expenses of the state budget on the road constructions. The analysis of the road department of the ministry of infrastructural development of Georgia is conducted. The interest of the road department in the sphere of modern technologies and implimentation of these technologies into practice is also discussed. There are some examples which I have brought up which shows the experiments conducted by the road department to determine better technologies.
This gives us the basis to study new technologies, which are prominently effective in different aspects. Study discusses the products of ‘’Doro Group’’, which are Dorosol, Doroport and inersem. Following technologies are distinguished for its available price, quality and logistics.
