The purpose of this paper is to study the main directions of improvement of Georgian customs system.

The first part of the paper deals with the role of customs systems for the economic development and advancement of the country. The second chapter of the paper discusses the features of customs service functioning and the factors affecting the quality of customs services. This chapter also discusses the classification and monitoring of custom services, as well as the audit of product quality and efficiency.
The third chapter of the paper summarizes theoretical or practical information on the basic features of custom system development. This chapter presents custom regulation mechanisms as instruments of economic security, with a discussion of the use of advanced information technology tools. The last section of the paper deals with the use of new incentive mechanisms and management systems, which reaffirms the successful development of Georgia's customs system and future challenges.
The concluding section of the paper summarizes the issues raised and provides an analysis of them together with their conclusions and recommendations.
