The mentionedMaster's Thesis ,,Career development opportunities at public service “ concerns the mechanisms of career development at public service and possibilities of professional development of public officers. The aim of the research was to study public officers’ employment and career development opportunities in Georgia, determine public officers’ professional assessment and professional needs. Our aim was to describe available condition in the public sector in transition epoch, conduct the description of State Mechanism Institutions, through which the state communicates with society, which makes the research more actual. The task of a conducted research is to show, that public management represents the specific image of public activities which gives opportunity the political group and public officers, rearrange all state structure. The subject of the research is employment in the public service and career development support, officers’ assessment and raise further professional qualification. The object of the research is the book fund saved in Georgian national archeological archive and national library, also information placed on the official website of Georgian government. As a main result of our research we prove that despite of several reforms, the public service in Georgia stands for several challenge, the freedom of career growth at service is particularly problematic. The novelty of this research is that, a model of the latest public management is presented in the research, according to which the foreign and internal policy of the state is carried out.
In the process of the research we used the general scientific methods, namely: analysis and synthesis, observation, comparison, hypothesis, research and analogy.
