Abstract: | Oximes are one of the versatile compounds in organic chemistry. They can be converted to amines, amides, nitriles, nitro compounds, and to a variety of heterocyclic compounds. It is known thet ferrocenyl group (Fc- ferrocenyl) is often incorporated into a bioactive compound to obtain enhanced biological activities. We obtained oximes of formylferrocene Fc-CH=NOH and acetylferrocene Fc-C(Me)=NOH, and performed they oxidation by active manganese dioxide MnO2 for deprotection, and by sodium perborate NaBO3·3H2O for the conversion into corresponding ferrocenylnitroalkanes. |
