Abstract
Nitriles are one of the most important functional groups in organic chemistry.
They can be converted to amines, ketones, carboxylic acides, amides, and a variety of heterocyclic compounds. It is known, that ferrocenyl group (Fc-ferrocenyl) is often incorporated into a bioactive compound to obtain enhanced biological activities. We obtained formylferrocene and 3-ferrocenyl-3-chloroacrolein oximes, and performed they conversion into cyanoferrocene Fc-CN and 3-ferrocenyl-3-chloroacrylonitrile FcC(Cl)=CH-CN, by employing the POCl3/THF, POCl3/DMF and Ph3P/CCl4. systems.
