The main point of my master thesis is to research international sports organizations of the
world,their member and non-member countries. We will also discuss some legal issues of
membership in these organizations. Actuality and relevance of the thesis is derived from
the fact that sports and sports activities often have become the reason for the beginning and
the end of the conflict. It should be mentioned that there is a big interest and great
attention to the official sports competitions in the modern world such as Olympic Games,
Football, Basketball and Rugby World Championships. Participating in a competition
among states, or membership of some international organizations, is often the subject of
political manipulation. We also have some subjects in the territory of Georgia who wants to
become full-fledged members of international organizations. Therefore, I believe that
carrying out some research, finding the legal issues under which the international
organizations operate, will be interesting and the goal is to draw some frameworks around
these regulations. How to join? What principles are included? Are there universal
approaches?
I have used Internet materials such as scientific articles, publications, video materials,
official pages of international organizations. Master thesis includes analytical researchs,
literary, comparative and cartographic research methods.
