ქართული სპორტის პრობლემები (ქართული ძიუდოს მაგალითზე)

Sport is a very important event in the modern world. It's too difficult to find a person, who isn't
interested in one kind of sport, haven't participated in sport competition or/and haven't seen sport
competition on a TV show. Importance and the role of the sport is such big that parliamentary
elections were temporary suspended in Brazil in 2014, because country was getting ready for the
World Cup (championship). As time goes by the importance of sport is increasing in Georgia as
well . Even the smallest success of Georgian sportsmen in the worldwide significantly increases the
awareness of the country. It promotes tourism of the county and due to this reason it determines
general development of the country.
“Sociology of Sport” studies theories and approaches of sports development in sociology.
Sociological analysis of sport unfortunately is not developed in Georgia, there are many problems
connected with sport in Georgia and this branch of sociology would have managed some part of
them. The need of such analysis and the love and interest of sport determined plan and conduct
of given research.
