Abstract
The aim of the study is to describe the current situation in the field of human resource development through organizations functioning in Georgia For that purpose, it’s important to determine the attitude of the organizations towards this issue, whether they have development programs of employees and describe what they include. Further, to depict trends observed in the survey results, to introduce the conclusion and analysis to the representatives concerned with this field.
The importance of the abovementioned topic is that processes, concepts, ideas and improvement of work with staff are continuously under way in the modern science and practice of management. Leaders of the organization, human resource management and development specialists almost unanimously recognize that the significancy of human factor increased and consider it as one of the most important factors that defines the competitiveness and efficiency of the modern business organization.
Within the survey, data was collected using quantitative and qualitative methods. The survey was participated by the Human Resource Managers and training and development specialist of
100 organizations were involved in our research.
Analysis of survey results showed that today there is a high interest of organizations for human resource development. However, it is noteworthy that despite the overall positive attitude, most of the surveyed organizations need an additional work in the direction of human resource development.
