Following work concerns to organizational strategy, to the meaning of strategy and consideration of the process of its formation.
Organizations in Georgia often operate without having document of strategy. Mostly it’s because not having practice of work with organizational consultants.
The main part of the Master’s thesis shows the importance of organizational strategy. Also it tells us about the organizational components, which are used to create strategy. We researched the process of creating strategy in one of the most popular store in Georgia “Altaokay” In the work we describe the process, that Altaokay passes through to formulate the strategy.
Master’s thesis analysis organizational design, structure and culture. For research we used interviews with the high management, Questionnaire of organization diagnosis, and SWOT analysis, which helped us to set long term goals for organization. Where the organization needs to implement change and what is the unique value, that leads organization towards the goal.
The aim of the master’s thesis is to show how important is the existance of strategy for organization’s success. And how we work on formation of organizational strategy.
