In the present work, demographic events and processes are analyzed dynamically in
Samtskhe-Javakheti. It has been shown and discussed the more or less studied and unexplored
issues of demographic development.In the fifth chapter of the work we will first examine the
results of the future, if the demographic situation will be maintained over the next few years.
The present forecast can be considered for the development of the concept of demographic
development of the country, as well as the individual region.

Problems are discussed both in historical and in modern ways. By analyzing the
information, received from the analysis of historical materials and demographic statistics, it is
possible to calculate the future results.

Demographic situation in separate regions of the country is developing differently.
Over the last decades, intensive migration processes have deteriorated to the population, which
is mainly reflected in the reduction of residents in mountainous regions. It is necessary to solve
many problems related to the socio-economic problems of these regions and its individual
municipalities, creating relevant conditions for the population. All the issues mentioned above
also refer to one of the oldest historical regions of Georgia, Samtskhe-Javakheti.

In analyzing the demographic situation and perspectives of the Samtskhe-Javakheti
region, it has emerged thet a particularly difficult situation in this area is created by the impact
of migration processes. First of all, the reasons of migration should be identified and the
measures that will enable migration management.
