Nowadays, the world’s political parties pay great attention to consider ecological issues.
Although this problem is quite relevant in Georgia, proper attention isn’t paid to the wrong reason, that there are more priority problems in the country.
The goal of this master’s thesis is to explore the ecological policy of Georgia.
What problems were several years ago on this issue and what the situation is now. Are political parties interested in actualizing this issue ?By reviewing the works of various researchers, with the representatives of political parties and experts working on this issue, I tried to make it clear what the situation in Georgia in environmental terms is.
In-depth interviews are able to directly hear the opinion of experts and representatives of political parties, who are working on this topic.Let’s find out what is planned and what measures are taken to solve the problems.
As the study revealed, despite the ecological problems in Georgia, this issue is not properly promoted. The current situation in the country is alarming. The most difficult problems are identified: the protection of atmospheric air, the problem of timber forest, pollution of fresh water. What's most sad ting is that the population is not aware of the importance of this issue.
How necessary it is to live in a healthy environment for our children and families.
