საქართველოში C ჰეპატიტის ელიმინაციის პროგრამის ეფექტურობა-პაციენტების პერსპექტივიდან

There was conducted research within frameworks of summarizing MA course of social work. Research matter is definition of efficiency of C hepatitis elimination program in Georgia-from perspectives of patients. Research was conducted among respondents living in Tbilisi, several regions of Kvemo Kartli, Batumi and Borjomi. In investigation took part former and present patients participating in the program.
From literature review there were marked out the following questions: treatment process is connected to physical and psycho -social difficulties of patients, therefore they need network of strong support and sympathy; patients with C hepatitis are faced the whole range of challenges, they are quite marginalized group in the society; stigma connected to hepatitis causes anxiety and excess fair of transmitting, because of which patient can become reason of social isolation.
For study of these questions there was used featured method of research- phone interview. From results of research there was marked out the following: treatment is connected to psycho-social difficultie of patient; in order to overcome these difficulties it is necessary to add qualified personnel in the program- in person of doctor, psychologist and social worker; from the point of view of struggling with stigma clinic serving personnel shall advocate patients together with the state; for effectiveness of treatment process support of family is essential, as well as strengthening of patients, as morally, so psychologically.
