Abstract
The master's thesis, "Comparative Analysis of Traditional and Modern Methods of Foreign Language Teaching", presents the role of foreign language teaching methods from an early period to the present, and shows how the use of methods in schools and universities has evolved and improved.
Both qualitative and quantitative research methods are used for practical research: mass survey of teachers and empirical survey.
The principal objective of the research is to determine how actively teachers use traditional and modern methods in foreign language teaching process and how much these approaches increase the incentive and motivation for students to learn a foreign language, which is based on theoretical material, empirical research and analysis of survey resultsIt is well known today that the methodology of teaching foreign languages is very important and in demand. Consequently, this process is conditioned by to many factors. Foreign language teachers try to make the learning process more intelligent, interesting and fun. Therefore it can be said that the research is quite urgent.
The concluding part of the study presents the questionnaire and the results reflected in the diagrams and tables. I think this study will be interesting for education students, as well as for both beginners and experienced English teachers.
