The Russian trace is observed in all the difficulties that Georgia and the Georgian people face. Each issue related to politics, economics, culture or spirituality is associated with Georgian-Russian relations. Today, these relations are extremely tense, so the government of the country and all its citizens are faced with solving the problems of developing foreign economic relations with the Russian Federation within the framework of Georgia and Russia on the basis of priority issues.
The object of the study of the master's thesis is foreign economic relations of Georgia, and the subject of the study is Georgian-Russian economic relations.
To achieve this goal, we have the following tasks:
• the national interests of the Georgian state.
The purpose of the master's work is to characterize and analyze the economic relations
between Discussion of Russian-Georgian trade relations based on the analysis of indicators in the period after 2008;
• Description of Russian foreign direct investment in Georgia before and after the break in diplomatic relations
• Analyze the problem of the emergence of the state debt of Georgia to the Russian Federation and characterize its reorganization.
Master's work is based on the use of such research methods as: induction and deduction, logical and historical analysis, statistical and comparison method.
In the process of the study, the works of Georgian and foreign scientists, as well as the database of the State National Statistical Office, materials of the Ministry of Energy and Finance, government decrees and legislative acts in Georgia were used.
