Abstract
Due to the fact that special educators have the necessary role in inclusive education, however, due to a number of reasons, they face many problems that prevent them from achieving the desired results. We often encounter researches, articles or TV stories, but problems are still unresolved, special teachers are still in difficulty and therefore need to review, solve problems and implement certain reforms.
The purpose of this research is to determine exactly what the situation in the field of special teachers is in the capital of our country as well as in the regions, what are the main aspects in the approach to the student in direct contact with the learner and how to overcome the difficulties revealed.
Qualitative research methods were used in the study: in-depth interviews and focus groups. Respondents were special teachers of public schools of Tbilisi as well as regions.
As a result of the survey we have received interesting data, revealed several important aspects and problems.
The ways of solving these problems are discussed in the recommendation section of the paper.
