Abstract
The organization is created as a union to accomplish certain types of goals and purposes which is characterized by the formal and informal rules of structure, imperious relations, divisions of labour, limited membership and rules. Members of the organization differ from each other with opportunities, values, personal and professional skills. These differences generate informal relations and conflicts within the organization.
What are informal relations? Groups which are established in the informal organization are called informal groups. People, as a rule, have common interests, general opponents or common problems. If they have a need and if there is no formal union for them to do so at informal levels they unite in groups. Bogart pointed out that "the impact of informal relations can be as strong as formal structure." (Borgatti, 2002).
What is the conflict? "Conflicts arise when one side insults the other, ignores or harms" (Karl Berkel). The cause of the conflict is also a collision of different interests, perceptions and needs. It is a phenomenon that is characteristic of all levels of human relations, ranging from interpersonal relationships to international relations. One of the factors that determine the frequency and severity of the conflict is the relationship between the members of the organization, including informal relations.
