Lobbyism has become a part of political life of all countries. Under the current conditions, development of lobby is masasocio-political phenomen on, is underway in a very difficult process because of the low level of awareness of lobbying. Georgia is included in the list of the countries where the special law on "Lobbying Activity" is applicable and at the same time, the lobbyists are subject to registration at the Registry of Lobbyists.
The society oriented on understanding and developing the importance of the lobbying activities of the XXI century Georgia is so small that our research has clearly demonstrated that the issue is at a very low level, one can also find the physical or legal entities in Georgia who have their opinions on this issue. However, this issue is at a very high level in developed countries such as the United States, the Federal Republic of Germany, etc.
The main essence of the work is to increase the awareness of lobbyism in Georgia as well as in other countries. Now the main task is to define the main characteristics of lobbyism, define its main characteristics, positive and negative aspects on the basis of its functioning and legal regulation analysis.
