Abstract
Research topic of Master's Thesis is a study of information and cognitive web-site
recognition and rating factors.Along with many important issues, one of the most
distinctive and serious issues is education problem and related issuesin Georgia.Today,
more and more information technology develops.In recent years reforms have been
implemented, which should have to change the existing educational system in Georgia
and adopt European standards.The fact is that all of this has not resulted in substantial
results and Georgia occupiesthe last position in the rank in the level of education of the
world.Technologies are less commonly used for educational purposes and are more likely
to be tailored to pupils.
The present paper aims to make research Informative, cognitive Web-Site awareness and
Rating Determining factors.
Three public schools were selected for research. Selection criteria: School volume (small,
medium, large) and school organizational-legal form: two schools are public, 1
private.Number of respondents: 50 pupils.
Administrators of information-cognitive web sites, IT specialists, representatives of
relevant fields of education, lecturers of university and directly by the site author have
been selected as respondents of qualitative research.
