The presented paper- „Goals and main directions of economic
reforms implemented in Georgia during the transition period” by Nino

period, results obtained through shock therapy. Also economic rerforms
carried out and their impact on changing the well being of the
population. Discusses the legacy of post-revolutionary government and
their willingness to deal with existing problems.
The paper covers the economic policy pursued by the new
government, the reforms implemented and world rankings in parallel
with the change in the political situation. Also, the real impact of the
above actions on the well-being of the population, the improvement of
the economic situation and the reduction of the poverty level.
