The master's thesis discusses the s tatistical analysis of Georgia's exports to the
Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as the structure of the CIS, the list of its member
states and their economic potential.
The first part of the paper discusses the international methodology available for the
production of international trade statistics. Instructions and articles for its use. As well as major
classifications in international trade statistics, the focus is on HS codes because these codes are the
most used around the world.
At the beginning of the second part of the master's thesis, the focus is on the importance of
Georgia's economic relations with the Commonwealth of Independent States, which also
demonstrates how urgent the master's thesis is. It is also discussed mainly what kind of goods
Georgia exports to the Commonwealth of Independent States. At the end of the paper, the ways of
statistical forecasting and "correction" of existing data are given.
