Abstract
Business risk related to fraud threatens the existence of the organization. The paper discusses the main challenges related to fraud risk in Georgia, both in the public and private sectors, as well as examples of effective risk management in the Georgian reality. Recommendations of international organizations regarding risks and fraudulent business risks are discussed in relation to the research issue. A comparative analysis of the legislative bases of developed countries with the Georgian legislative base in terms of risk regulation, particularly fraudulent risk, is described.
Fraud risk can harm both the organization and the overall image of the country in terms of investment attractiveness, the paper includes an interview with a government official on information security.
