კარტოფილის ჯიში „სილვანას“ ბიომორფოლოგიური და აგროტექნოლოგიური თავისებურებების შესწავლა აჭარის პირობებში

As we know, among vegetable crops, the potato plant, due to its nutritional and economic importance, occupies a very large place in food production, which is primarily due to the versatile use of its tubers, the products of which are widely known for processing; The nutritional value of potatoes is determined by the content of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and other substances in raw materials that are essential for the normal functioning of the human body. This value varies under the influence of plant variety, location, soil-climatic conditions.
In this regard, one of the most important profitable and promising plants is the potato variety "Silvana" introduced in Georgia. It can be grown in the conditions of Adjara, both in the highlands and in the lowlands.
The novelty and specificity and originality of the research are discussed in the paper due to the fact that for the first time in Adjara we studied the biomorphological characteristics of Silvana plant, growth and development, maintenance, major pests and effective measures to combat them.
